![]() ![]() I admit I looked for some at the wiki, but no all, most I got from experimentation and 11 from scrolls. Well, if "discover" means only making them yourself, and ONLY THAT, I should have the achievement, I did exactly what the achievement asks for, to "discover" 20 recipes (I have "discovered" 24), BUT, I don't have it. You see, there are 2 achievements, one asks for you to "discover" 5 alchemy recipes, the other asks for you to "discover" 20 alchemy recipes. Yes, LB made a mistake not accounting for that in the achievements, but consider this: It's not much of an "achievement" to have part of it handed to you, so it's legit to have to discover them all yourself, but there should have been a warning when using the scrolls that using even one would block the achievement, with buttons to choose whether to use the scroll or not. Those recipe scrolls are from the DLC, they didn't exist before 1.20. At least I can take my file and separate it if I want to start another one. This is more punishing than the fishing mechanic I think. Is that correct? If so that's another fault by the developers, people have different play styles so by only having the achievements trigger through just making recipes at the alchemy benches AND buying recipes from the NPC will void that progress is a design flaw by the developers that will force most people to start a fresh file just to get those last achievements. I was bothered by this so I checked the wiki to see what I was missing, turns out I have both alchemy workbenches complete and have brewed every single recipe at least once, but, since I used 11 alchemy recipe scrolls, I don't have the master alchemist achievement (even if the achievement asks for 20 and I discovered 24 by myself).
